Economic Impact
Visitor spending affects more than just the hotels, with the average out-of-town visitor spending nearly $100 a day!
From the time guests arrive to town, they stay in hotels, eat in the local restaurants, buy gas for their vehicles, stock up on essential supplies (bottled water, snacks, etc.), and enjoy the local amenities (Top Golf, Sunsplash, Movie Studio Grill, etc.)! Every purchase adds up and helps enhance the local economy!
HOTEL INDUSTRY DIRECT ECONOMIC IMPACT FOR ROSEVILLE, ROCKLIN AND LINCOLN for 2017:
- Generated over $76,500,000 in hotel sales
- Hotel guests spent an additional $127,600,000 shopping, dining and recreating at local businesses
- Hotels employ more than 530 people
- Hotels spend nearly $4,000,000 on local goods and services
- Hotels provide more than $4.6M in Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) to our cities’ General Fund, a 3% increase from 2016
