Placer Valley is bustling with activities and events, and there's always something happening for visitors and locals to enjoy. From festivals to fairs, and concerts to charity runs, we’ve got a full calendar of upcoming events offering a wide range of sports and recreational opportunities in Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln.

Cycling opportunities are abundant here in Placer Valley, with several challenging road and mountain biking routes for all skill levels. The Placer Valley region is also a perfect destination for trail running and hiking, with the area's many parks and nature preserves offering miles of scenic trails for visitors to explore. Total Body Fitness Racing, a multi-sport racing, and training organization hosts events from January-September in 2023. An anticipated annual event is the Tour de Lincoln, which offers riders 100k, 50k, and 25k rides through the Lincoln area. The 21st Annual Tour de Lincoln race will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023.

This year Placer Valley is welcoming new events such as the West Coast Showcase presented by Big South Conference. The West Coast Showcase will be hosted at Foskett Regional Park in Lincoln on August 5-6. This football event has been hosted in Texas for the past 5 years, Placer Valley is welcoming them with their first tournament in California. The tournament includes flag football for ages 4-6 and tackle football for ages 7-13.

In addition to the mixture of sports and recreational activities available, Placer Valley also offers several sports-related attractions and facilities, such as the Roseville Aquatics Complex, and the Roebbelen Center. These facilities organize different types of sports-related events, competitions, and clinics throughout the year.

The Roebbelen Center has booked a wide variety of events for the 2023 year, such as the National Cheer Association (NCA) Roseville Classic on February 11-12, Sac Anime on April 7-9, and 2023 USA Gymnastics 6/7 Regionals April 21-23, to name a few.

One of the most anticipated events of 2023 is the Placer County Fair, which is celebrating its 85th year! Don’t miss out on the carnival rides, games, live music, and delicious food the Placer County Fair has to offer. Come out June 22nd-25th to help celebrate the 85th anniversary!
