Born in Rome and grew up in Argentina, his father is Brazilian-Portuguese and his mother Italian, Chef Daniel absorbed many life lessons from his mother that can only be taught with time, patience and love. His passion for food began as a young adult being in their warm kitchen filled with aromatics of homemade Italian dishes. His homemade red sauce has been part of his family for generations and it is truly extraordinary.
Buonarroti is named after the most famous artist of the Italian Renaissance, Michelangelo Buonarroti. The 100-year-old brick interior and hand-painted murals give the restaurant an old-world feel.
